Extended range by utilizing an ultra low noise, low-impedance internal preamp, paired with parallel placed coils like the DC, but loaded with ceramic steel. The result is that the TBCS is much warmer as a result of the higher inductance of the steel, and thus has a smoother attack and a flatter high end. This model is the most "Traditional" sounding of the group, from Classic Rock to Heavy Metal this pickup performs.

The TBP design has two offset coils that result in more low end with brilliant highs. It is intended for 4-string models that have a more narrow string spacing and uses short, squat coils that have very little resistance and plenty of inductance. Ceramic magnets are used to add clarity. The TBP has a natural presence, powerful lows, punchy midrange, and superior definition.

Active Jazz Bass™ pickup in a Thunderbird™ housing
The TBJ uses our J model single coil design encased in our Thunderbird housing. This model has a solid low end and a prominent midrange. Featuring a very low ratio of resistance to inductance that increases the low frequency response, the 35J still maintains the narrow aperture for that typical Jazz Bass tone.

Inside the TBTW pickup are both single and dual-coil pickups, each with its own output. The single-coil mode is a new version of our J pickup built in the CS (ceramic and steel). The dual-coil mode is our popular CS dual-coil consisting of two coils opposite one another creating a pickup similar to model 35CS. A push/pull volume (or tone) pot allows you to change from the clarity of a single-coil to the fatness of a dual-coil.

Pois é! Todos os fabricantes de captadores renomados produzem modelos para upgrade em GUITARRAS Gibson style. Já, para contrabaixo, não existe quase nada.   

Eu sempre curti o modelo T Bird..pelo visual...

mas o som realmente eh um "embolo" só kkk

acho que com esses EMG's pode dar uma "limpada" e tornar o baixo mais usável!

no site da EMG esta meio confuso....nao sei se os caps vem com os pot's, se sim qual a configuração, se eh VOL, VOL e Tone ou Vol, Bal e Tone....etc...

Normalmente, os EMG são fornecidos com pots, jack e clip de bateria.
